These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Dodam Dodam (the "Service"), provided by bebeda ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. The Service is intended for parents and guardians who wish to record their child's growth and daily life. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may use the Service only with parental or guardian involvement.
2. Definitions
- "Service" means the Dodam Dodam mobile application and all related services we provide.
- "User" means any individual who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- "Account" means the registered profile you create to use the Service.
- "Content" means any diary entries, records, photos, or other material you create or upload through the Service.
3. Account Registration
- You must create an Account using your email address to use the Service.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
- You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
- You may not transfer or share your account with others.
4. Your Content
- You retain all rights in your Content (diary entries, records, photos, etc.).
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, back up, and display your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
- We do not use your Content for commercial purposes without your consent.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use other people's personal information or register false information
- Defame, harass, or abuse other users
- Use the Service for commercial advertising
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
- Post obscene, violent, or offensive content
- Violate any applicable law
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property rights
6. User-Generated Content & Safety
We apply a zero-tolerance policy to objectionable content (obscenity, violence, hate, harassment, defamation).
- You can report or block other users directly within the app.
- Content that violates these Terms will be removed without prior notice — by user report or our own monitoring — and the responsible user may face restrictions or permanent account termination.
7. AI-Powered Features
- Some features of the Service use AI to assist with writing diary entries or generating weekly letters. AI output is provided for reference only and is not medical, legal, or other professional advice.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.
- For decisions about your child's health or development, please consult a qualified medical professional.
8. Service Changes & Availability
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) for operational, technical, or business reasons.
- We will give at least 30 days' advance notice for material changes through an in-app announcement, except where doing so is not feasible (e.g., emergencies, legal obligations, or force majeure).
9. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by submitting a deletion request.
- After deletion, your account and records are retained for 90 days for recovery purposes and then permanently destroyed.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, after warning where appropriate.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bebeda will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 7 days in advance through an in-app announcement or push notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
